Black Ops 6 Season 1: New Game Modes Overview
Black Ops 6 is setting out to reignite excitement for the series with a mix of quality-of-life improvements and enticing new content to draw players back into the action. While the base game already offers a wide range of modes, Season 1 will introduce some fresh options:
Ransack
In Ransack, players engage in fast-paced 6v6 combat, looting gold bars from scattered crates across the battlefield. Once collected, the gold needs to be secured at your team’s stash, which will need constant guarding—opposing teams can raid it, making coordination essential. Victory goes to the team that reaches the score limit or has the most gold when time runs out, so success depends on balancing looting with defense.
Prop Hunt (Coming Later in the Season)
The fan-favorite party mode returns with a unique hide-and-seek twist! In Prop Hunt, players join Multiplayer maps either as Props or Hunters. Props have a limited time to blend into the environment, transforming into random objects that can move and emit a whistle every 30 seconds. To win, Props must remain undetected until the clock runs out.
- Props can use decoys, change into other objects, or throw a Stun Grenade at a Hunter if their cover is nearly blown.
- Hunters scan the area for any out-of-place objects—or sounds—and attempt to take them down before time runs out.
