Valve’s Worldwide Rankings for CS2 Esports: November 2024

Explore Valve’s Latest Global Rankings for CS2 Esports

Curious to see where your favourite CS2 team stands in Valve’s official rankings?

On April 22, Valve introduced its first-ever global ranking system for CS2 esports. Previously, Valve only compiled regional rankings for Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

While much of the Counter-Strike community has relied on HLTV’s rankings, Valve’s global rankings will become significantly more important starting in 2025.

This change comes as tournament organisers will be required to move away from their current partnership ecosystems and instead rely on Valve’s rankings to determine tournament invitations or host open qualifiers.

Notably, this initiative, known as “A Level Playing Field,” will have a major impact on prominent tournament organizers like BLAST and ESL, who currently operate within franchised league systems.

Below are the top 50 teams as of November 13, 2024, according to Valve’s global CS2 rankings. These rankings also play a key role in determining seeding for the Perfect World Shanghai Major.
