Update (October 9, 2024): The highly anticipated Esports Awards London 2024 ceremony has a new date! Originally set for November 14, it will now unfold on November 21, 2024. Organizers have released an updated schedule encompassing the Esports Awards, Mobies, and related events:
- November 19 – Mobies Ceremony, the Mobile Gaming Awards

In a recent press release, the organizers stated, “The changes have been made to ensure the ceremony is as accessible as possible to all guests and finalists, allowing the Esports Awards to offer an enhanced experience that stands out from other events on the esports calendar.”
The return of the PWR UP event is particularly exciting, offering a unique networking opportunity for professionals within the gaming industry to showcase their skills and share their expertise. Additionally, the Esports Awards Open is back, providing a delightful space for gaming enthusiasts and golf lovers to connect, while also serving as a valuable platform for industry professionals.
Original article (September 24, 2024): Today marks an exciting day in the esports community as the finalists for the Esports Awards London 2024 have been revealed! Categories include Esports Team of the Year, Esports Host of the Year, and much more. The winners of the Pro and On-Air categories will be broadcast online, and this time, the ceremony will not feature a ticketed live audience—viewers will enjoy the event exclusively through online streaming.
This ceremony in London builds on an impressive 2024, following a successful broadcast earlier this year in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during the Esports World Cup. You can find the winners from the Riyadh event here. The London celebration on November 21 promises to spotlight all things esports, with prestigious categories like PC Gamer of the Year, Console Gamer of the Year, and Organization of the Year taking center stage. Fans can catch all the excitement on platforms like Twitch, X, and other major streaming services.
Among the UK talent making waves in the finals are household names like Pansy, Car, Doctor, Debut, and Brandon Smith competing for Esports Play by Play Caster of the Year. Dan Gaskin, last year’s winner for Esports Color Caster of the Year, is once again in the running, alongside James Banks, Yinsu, and Pragia for Esports Presenter of the Year. In the Esports Content Creator of the Year category, contenders include Caedrel and Tactical Rab.
While the Esports Journalist of the Year category wasn’t included in the earlier press releases, organizers have communicated that its announcement has faced delays. Mike Ashford, President of the Esports Awards, told The Esports Advocate, “We aim to present the Journalist of the Year award in a way that honors and celebrates the work of journalists, and this thorough consultation process has temporarily postponed the announcement.”
In previous years, the Esports Awards have attracted massive audiences, surpassing 20 million viewers. The event proudly partners with notable names such as Oakley, Qiddiya, and the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF).
The finalists for the London 2024 Esports Awards ceremony have been officially unveiled!
