Champion Adjustments in Patch 14.24

- Cassiopeia: Her passive movement speed is increased from 4–72 to 6–108 when her team secures Feats of Strength.
- Master Yi: The critical damage of his Q ability is enhanced from 35% to 56.25%, with the AD ratio rising from 17.5% to 28.125%.
- Rell: Base health is augmented from 610 to 640. The passive resist steal per stack is elevated from 2% to 3%, and the minimum resist steal is adjusted from 1–2 to 1.5–3. Additionally, her W ability’s base shield is increased from 15–115 to 25–125, with the shield health ratio moving from 12% to 13%.
- Viktor: The selection radius is expanded from 120 to 160. The Q ability’s base shield is increased from 27–105 (based on level) to 40–115. The W ability’s slow effect is enhanced from 30–45% to 33–45%. Notably, the E ability is renamed from “Death Ray” to “Hextech Ray,” and the R ability from “Chaos Storm” to “Arcane Storm.” The R ability no longer disrupts channels upon casting, and its evolution now increases size by 40% and extends duration by 3 seconds per champion damaged by the storm that dies.
- Warwick: Base attack damage is slightly reduced from 65 to 63. The Q ability’s cast range is extended from 350 to 365. The W ability’s attack speed duration is lengthened from 1 second to 2.5 seconds.
Item Modifications
Several items receive notable changes:
- Aegis of the Legion: Cost is reduced from 1,200 to 1,100 gold. Armor and magic resist are both decreased from 30 to 25. The item now builds into Unending Despair.
- Bloodletter’s Curse: Provides 55 ability power, 350 health, and 10 ability haste. The “Surge” passive grants 5% magic penetration for 6 seconds upon dealing magic damage to champions, stacking up to 6 times.
- Unending Despair: New recipe: Aegis + Giant’s Belt + 800 gold, totaling 2,800 gold. Health increased from 350 to 400. Armor reduced from 60 to 25, now offering 25 magic resist. Cooldown lowered from 5 to 4 seconds. Base damage adjusted from 30–50 to 8–15.
- Heartsteel: Base damage decreased from 80 to 70. Health ratio changed from 12% bonus item HP to 6% max HP.
- Warmog’s Armor: Winged Moonplate replaced by Giant’s Belt. Movement speed bonus removed. Health regeneration per second adjusted from 5% max HP to 3% max HP. Bonus HP threshold increased from 1,500 to 2,000. Cooldown extended from 6 to 8 seconds. Now grants 12% increased HP.
- Elixirs: Level requirement raised from 9 to 12. Players can now purchase only one elixir at a time. Elixir of Iron’s tenacity reduced from 25% to 20%. Elixir of Wrath’s AD changed from 30 flat to 28–30 (levels 12–18).
System Updates
The patch also brings system-level changes:
- Sorcerer’s Rune: “Nullifying Orb” is replaced with “Axiom Arcanist,” enhancing ultimate power. Scoring a takedown reduces the ultimate’s current cooldown by 7% and increases its power by 12%.
- Domination Runes: “Eyeball Collection,” “Ghost Poro,” and “Zombie Ward” are removed, introducing three new runes:
- Sixth Sense: Automatically detects nearby untracked and unseen wards, revealing them for 10 seconds at level 11. Cooldown: 300 seconds (melee) / 360 seconds (ranged).
- Grisly Mementos: Collects 1 memento per champion takedown, up to 25 stacks, granting 4 trinket ability haste per stack. In modes without vision trinkets, grants 2 summoner spell haste per stack.
- Deep Ward: Wards placed in the enemy jungle gain +1 health and increased duration (+30–45 seconds; +30–120 seconds for trinket stealth wards).
- Teleport: Channel duration reduced from 4 to 3 seconds. Now dashes the target to the location after the channel, similar to hexgates. Maximum travel time is 5 seconds for base Teleport and 4 seconds for Unleashed. Can target minions and wards again. Base cooldown decreased from 360 to 300 seconds. Unleashed cooldown adjusted from 330–240 seconds to 300–240 seconds.
- Turret Fortification: Damage reduction lowered from 85% to 50%.
- Conqueror Rune: Damage-over-time stack lockout timer reduced from 5 to 4 seconds.
These updates aim to balance gameplay and set the foundation for the upcoming season. Players are encouraged to review the detailed patch notes and adapt their strategies accordingly.
