Is There a Chance Galactus Could Return to Fortnite?

At one point, Galactus played a major role in Fortnite’s evolving storyline. He first appeared at the conclusion of Chapter 2, Season 3, as a major threat to Zero Point, taking center stage as the main antagonist in the Marvel-themed Chapter 2, Season 4. With the latest Fantastic Four movie trailer teasing his presence in the upcoming film, fans are left wondering: could the Devourer of Worlds make a comeback in Fortnite? Will Galactus Ever Return to Fortnite?

Although Galactus was a significant villain in Fortnite’s past, he was never released as a playable skin. However, an interesting detail from the official Fortnite Wiki describes Galactus as an unreleased Epic Outfit, suggesting that Epic Games may have once considered adding him to the game. While no such skin exists yet, this detail raises speculation that it could happen in the future.

As for his return as an in-game antagonist, that seems unlikely. Fortnite rarely reuses major villains, and with so many Marvel characters yet to be featured, Epic Games would probably introduce fresh faces instead. So far, the game has seen two Marvel-themed seasons, one featuring Galactus and the other Doctor Doom. Given the vast roster of Marvel villains, it would make more sense for new characters, such as Kang the Conqueror or Magneto, to take the spotlight in a future crossover event.

Could Galactus Arrive as a Skin Instead?

While Galactus returning as a villain may not be likely, a playable skin is a different story. Fortnite has a track record of eventually releasing skins based on past bosses, characters like Midas, Geno, and the Cube Queen all became skins despite initially being part of the storyline. However, these skins were introduced during their respective seasons, whereas Galactus has been absent from Fortnite for several years, making a delayed release somewhat unusual.

That said, with the Fantastic Four movie set to hit theaters this summer, Epic Games could seize the opportunity to bring related skins into the game. So far, only Silver Surfer has appeared in Fortnite, leaving Mr. Fantastic, The Thing, Human Torch, Invisible Woman, and even Galactus as potential additions. If Galactus is heavily featured in the movie, there’s a strong possibility Epic could finally introduce a Galactus skin, even if it’s based on his film appearance rather than his Chapter 2 portrayal.

At this point, there is no official confirmation or leaks hinting at Galactus’ return, whether as a villain or a skin. For now, his future in Fortnite remains purely speculative, but with Epic’s long history of Marvel collaborations, the possibility can’t be ruled out.
