VALORANT Episode 9 Act 3 is just around the corner, and with it comes the introduction of a new map. This tactical first-person shooter title has proved popular since its release in 2020 and has several exciting betting opportunities. This update will bring a Team Deathmatch (TDM) map called Glitch. Casual players will get the chance to test their aim in this new, exciting environment. Here’s everything you need to know about the Glitch map in VALORANT.
New TDM Map: Glitch Arrives in VALORANT
Glitch is the highlight of Patch 9.08, explicitly designed for 5v5 Team Deathmatch. Set in the glitchy Max Bot Arena, the map offers a chaotic battleground for intense duels. Max Bots are training robots created by Killjoy and Raze, featured in the 2022 cinematic. This map is part of Riot’s ongoing efforts to enhance casual play. It adds to the TDM map pool and provides exhilarating options for players outside the competitive mode.
At first glance, Glitch resembles a mix of the Haven, Pearl, and Sunset maps but with tighter spaces that encourage players to hold angles rather than sprint across the map. Its standout features include three-lane structures and enormous wall obstacles, making navigating and promoting tactical gameplay and team coordination challenging.
In typical Team Deathmatch fashion, the objective is to score 100 kills within 10 minutes. The team that hits this mark first wins, with all participants earning 1000 XP regardless of victory or defeat.
Glitch will be released with VALORANT Episode 9 Act 3, launching on October 23, 2024. Create your account with one of the best esports betting sites today to place wagers on VALORANT.
