Dota 2 Crownfall Event Extended Through February 6

Great news for Dota 2 players! Valve has generously extended the deadline for the Crownfall event, giving everyone until February 6, 2025, to complete any remaining progress.

If you’ve been struggling to finish a few tasks in the event, you now have two more weeks to complete them before the event concludes.

A Surprising Announcement: Crownfall’s Final Bow

Valve’s recent news post titled “Crownfall’s Final Bow” caused a bit of panic among the community at first, but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The extension of the Crownfall event’s end date means you have a bit more time to enjoy the festivities. However, this will likely be the final extension, so it’s time to get moving if you haven’t already.

It’s clear Valve is paying attention to its fans, whether you’re a friend of Dota 2 janitor Jake “SirActionSlacks” Kanner or one of the many players who voiced their pleas for more time in the Dota 2 Reddit forum. Your request has been heard!

A Grand Farewell to Crownfall

Though the deadline has been extended, today was meant to be the original end date. As a result, the developers have released a special credits sequence to mark the event’s closing. Featuring new music and fun easter eggs, this can be accessed by simply clicking on the “Play Credits” option from the main menu in Dota 2.

How Much Time Is Left to Complete Crownfall Act 4?

By now, most players who participated in the Crownfall event are well into Act 4. If you haven’t even started yet, you’re already running out of time, as completing the entire event typically takes a month. Act 4 also features the notoriously difficult Nest of Thorns mini-game, which may prove challenging to finish.

If you’re hoping to purchase your way to completion, the sale ended in December 2024, so you’ll need to pay full price for the remaining content. We recommend making the most of this extended deadline to progress as far as you can and cross your fingers for a successful finish!
