Crownfall Act IV Launches in Dota 2 – Event Now Extended Until January

Crownfall Act IV Arrives in Dota 2 with Exciting New Content

The wait is over! After months of anticipation, Act IV of Crownfall has finally launched, introducing a new event map, a brand-new hero named Kez, and much more. Dota 2 players can enjoy this exciting addition until January!

Arriving on the evening of October 7 (or the morning if you’re outside the US), this latest chapter in Dota 2’s biggest event yet includes a massive overworld map with three unique quest paths, side quests, mini-games, and the opportunity to battle Queen Imperia. Successfully defeating her unlocks alternate styles for the Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit Arcanas. Here’s a breakdown of everything this update brings.

About the New Act

With Kez’s reveal back in September, players can now experience this bird samurai firsthand as he helps reclaim Skywrath from Queen Imperia. Kez boasts nine abilities and two switchable fighting styles, making him a formidable new addition.

Act IV of Crownfall brings the largest map yet, featuring three main paths for Dragonus (Skywrath Mage), Shendelzare (Vengeful Spirit), and Kez. Players can progress through the map by participating in Dota 2 matches and earning tokens. Special tokens, such as Kez and Skywrath tokens, are also required to fully complete the map.

By purchasing the latest Skywrath Pathfinder Pack, players gain access to two new tower skins, Scree’Auk and Avilliva, plus additional questlines that unlock immortals for Batrider and Bloodseeker.

Additional Rewards in Crownfall Act IV

Crownfall Act IV’s Board offers mini-games, bonus items, and a chance to unlock treasures from the Crownfall Collector’s Cache and Crownfall Collector’s Cache II.

Players can also visit the Snake Charmer in Shen’s questline within Act IV to collect limited edition Crownfall character stickers.

Extended Timeline for Crownfall Act IV

Originally scheduled to conclude in October, Valve has extended Crownfall until January 15, 2025. This extension gives players just over two months to enjoy the latest content and unlock all possible paths. With this being one of the most extensive events in Dota 2’s history, don’t miss out on the chance to fully experience everything it offers!
