Esports News UK is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with Intel for an unforgettable IEM Rio Watch Party event—marking ENUK’s first-ever gathering in the North! Get ready for a spectacular weekend packed with amazing Counter-Strike 2 action as we celebrate the Intel Extreme Masters Rio (IEM Rio) 2024 semi-finals and grand finals!
Join us from Saturday, 12 October to Sunday, 13 October 2024, starting at 4 PM BST at Pixel Bar, located at 10 Thomas St, Manchester, M4 1DH. This is your chance to witness the intense competition live, streamed straight from the renowned Farmasi Arena in Brazil!
But that’s not all! We’ll also be celebrating a milestone—Esports News UK’s 9th birthday—on Saturday, creating a vibrant space for the esports community to come together. This event offers the perfect setting for CS fans and enthusiasts from across the UK to connect and cheer for their favorite teams!
Intel will take over the basement area of Pixel Bar, featuring thrilling mini-tournaments of community CS2 Wingman across two action-packed days. Join the competition at the wheeled LAN area with your friends—don’t miss your chance to win fantastic prizes, including a limited edition IEM engraved Acer notebook!
We’ll also be graced by some exciting special guests! Look out for well-known streamers and esports personalities, whose names are set to be revealed soon. This follows the recent triumph of UK CS2 star Mezii, who claimed victory with Team Vitality at IEM Cologne 2024!
Pixel Bar, which opened its doors in Leeds in October 2019 and expanded to Manchester in late 2021, is becoming a hub for esports events, recently hosting the Ruddy Brods UKEL League of Legends tournament, with a new venue also launching in Liverpool this month.
