Lets get into it!

Black Ops 6 Omnimovement Explained

One of the biggest new features is the Omnimovement system, offering the most fluid boots-on-the-ground movement in Call of Duty history. Available across all modes, Omnimovement enhances the action-packed, spy-thriller moments in Multiplayer.

Call of Duty BO6: Multiplayer and Zombies

With the launch fast approaching, we’re taking a closer look at Multiplayer (MP) and Zombies to ensure you’re up to speed on all the key details. Let’s break down what you can expect.

The Multiplayer Experience

Black Ops 6 promises an unparalleled gameplay experience featuring new maps, modes, weapons, and equipment. Core 6v6 modes return alongside a brand-new 6v6 mode called Kill Order, where your objective is to eliminate the enemy High-Value Target (HVT) while protecting your own. You’ll also find 2v2 Gunfight and Face Off variations of several 6v6 modes. If you’re seeking a more intense challenge, Hardcore mode, with limited HUD, friendly fire, and reduced health, will be available in select playlists at launch.

At launch, there will be 16 new maps, split into two categories: 12 Core 6v6 maps and four compact Strike maps for 6v6 or 2v2 play. You might have experienced some of these maps in the beta, including Scud, Rewind, Skyline, Babylon, and Derelict, but there’s much more in store.

For example, Lowtown is a dockside neighborhood featuring a boathouse, fishing shed, climbable lattices, and a canal for swimming. Then there’s Vault, a vast desert playspace adorned with monuments, sculptures, a central palace, and a lavish atrium. And this is just the beginning—more maps will be available after launch as part of post-launch seasons.

At launch, you’ll also have 20+ Black Ops 6 Operators to choose from, with factions split between the Rogue Black Ops and Crimson One. The Rogue squad is on the run, hunted by their former CIA employers and using improvised or black-market gear. Meanwhile, Crimson One represents the CIA team assigned to track them down, armed with state-backed resources and intelligence. These factions and the operators within them bring new depth to the game’s narrative.

Zombies Mode

Round-Based Zombies is back, offering the most robust experience to date, continuing the Dark Aether storyline from Black Ops Cold War. The Terminus team—featuring characters Weaver, Grey, Carver, and Maya—drives the narrative, though you can jump in with any Multiplayer operator. At launch, you’ll have two Round-Based maps: Terminus and Liberty Falls, with more coming in future updates.

Zombies fans will be thrilled to see the return of Perk-a-Colas, Field Upgrades, Wonder Weapons, GobbleGums, and Ammo Mods, along with the introduction of Augments. Augments let you customize your Perks, Ammo Mods, and Field Upgrades for even more flexibility in your playstyle.

For solo players, a long-requested feature is finally here—you’ll be able to save your solo Zombies matches and return to them later, as long as you’re not in the middle of combat, downed, or actively exfiltrating.

Progression & Prestige

Black Ops 6 reintroduces a more traditional Prestige system. Once you reach Max Level 55, you can Prestige, resetting your level but unlocking exclusive rewards along the way.

In addition to Prestige, Black Ops 6 offers a deeply rewarding progression system, with a wealth of content available from Day One. You’ll earn XP for playing the objective, earning medals, and completing challenges, like Calling Card and Reticle challenges. Every weapon, equipment piece, Field Upgrade, and Scorestreak in your loadout has its own Master Badge progression system in both MP and Zombies, adding even more ways to unlock rewards.

Call of Duty BO6: Weapons & Equipment

The streamlined Weapons Menu in Black Ops 6 lets you easily manage your loadouts as you level up your gear. The game boasts an impressive arsenal, blending fan-favorites from the Black Ops series with all-new weapons. For the first time, you’ll have a third dedicated slot for melee weapons, so a knife or bat will always be at your disposal for close-quarters combat.

Perks, Wildcards, and tactical equipment play a critical role in how you approach each match. You’ll also gain access to Field Upgrades and Scorestreaks as you progress, including exciting new additions like the War Cry Field Upgrade, which boosts nearby teammates’ movement and health regeneration for a short time.
