Goose House Unveils New Strategy to Transform Its eSports Club Experience

Goose House outlines new strategies to enhance its eSports club, focusing on improved training and community engagement.

The UK grassroots esports scene is buzzing with excitement as The Goose House (TGH) announces transformative internal changes designed to elevate the community to new heights! In a recent press release to Esports News UK, TGH has laid out its ambitious plan for revitalization, emphasizing professionalism and inclusivity.

The statement reads:

“To outline the changes we have made internally to revamp TGH:

  • We have hired full-time, paid staff to ensure that the community is not just run by volunteers, but by those who have an active and contractual duty to professionalize the community and ensure its safe and healthy growth.
  • We have introduced an anonymous complaint form that members can use if they have any concerns. This form ensures transparency and accountability within our community.
  • We just created a comprehensive The Goose House policy that consolidates our principles, code of conduct, and other essential guidelines. It serves as a clear roadmap for our community standards.
  • We have provided staff manuals that outline expectations and procedures.
  • We actively seek input from our community through feedback forms – this ensures we stay informed.
  • We have hired a dedicated streaming team manager to ensure that streamers associated with TGH are fully supported and have someone to answer any questions or concerns.
  • We have implemented a formal investigation procedure for handling complaints, along with a comprehensive log to track any issues.
  • We have a lot planned throughout 2024 and have already successfully completed one event. We have a new roster of streamers and influencers, all working proactively within the community. The Discord community is also in its most active phase yet.

Just one year ago, TGH faced turmoil as several members departed amidst allegations against their former co-owner. However, with the recent acquisition by Into the Breach at the end of October 2023, there’s renewed hope! Into the Breach announced that they, alongside their founder Sam Cook, now own TGH, reassuring fans that previous ownership issues are behind them.

Sam stated: “We made these changes immediately as soon as ITB acquired the property – it was of course a condition of purchase to make a number of changes to correct the previous issues.”

The passion and determination radiating from The Goose House’s latest initiatives show a commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive esports community. With professional staff, clear guidelines, and a focus on community engagement, TGH is poised for an inspiring year ahead! Keep your eyes on this dynamic organization as they set the stage for a thrilling future in competitive gaming!
