Reboot Cards Now Purchasable in Fortnite
A major gameplay change in v34.30 allows players to buy Reboot Cards directly from Reboot Vans for 500 Gold each. This makes reviving teammates significantly easier, although it’s currently unknown if there’s a limit to how many Cards can be purchased per match.
Adventure Time Collab Still on the Way
Though not part of this patch, the much-anticipated Adventure Time crossover is still expected soon. According to leaks, themed cosmetics and an emote based on the cartoon are coming within the next two weeks.
Ballistic Mode Gets Major Updates
Fortnite’s tactical 5v5 mode, Ballistic, received key changes in v34.30 under the new “Test Grounds” label. Two new maps—Hammer Fall and Storm Chaser Cove—have been introduced alongside additions to the loot pool.
New Gear in Ballistic:
-
Fire Grenade: Sets the area ablaze on impact.
-
Overdrive: Boosts player mobility, reload speed, weapon swapping speed, and Rift Point planting time.
-
Burst Assault Rifle: Fires high-damage, three-round bursts for effective combat engagements.
These updates aim to refresh interest in Ballistic, offering new strategies and faster-paced gameplay.
With all these changes, Fortnite v34.30 proves to be a substantial mid-season update, blending pop culture, gameplay upgrades, and tactical enhancements.
