‘Caffeinated’ Fortnite Espresso Emote Set for a Comeback Soon

Recently, recording artist Sabrina Carpenter returned to Fortnite with the “Caffeinated” emote, tied to her song Espresso. As we have learnt previously, the American-born pop star has been present in Fortnite, specifically in the Festival Mode. Alongside her Sonic Surfer and Jam Track items, Epic Games added this new emote. However, due to fan complaints, it was temporarily removed. Now, based on recent updates, the emote will be available again soon.

Fortnite’s ‘Caffeinated’ Emote from Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso to Return

The controversy surrounding the “Caffeinated” emote arose because the audio was sped up, which disappointed fans who wanted the original song. After receiving feedback, Epic Games decided to pull the emote. According to leaker ShiinaBR, it is set to return once the new season launches on November 2, with the original audio intact.

The upcoming Fortnite update, Chapter 2 OG (Remix), will likely include the emote in the Item Shop. While the revised version will feature the original audio, it’s unclear what will happen to the sped-up version. Some players who purchased the initial emote may receive a refund option as the audio is being changed.

Although leaked, this information is supported by the fact that Epic Games removed “Caffeinated” due to fan backlash. When it returns, it will likely be part of the Sabrina Carpenter bundle, including the two emotes and Jam Tracks.
